Meet Stella, a new resident at the Adoption Center. Stella is a nice young cat under a year old. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Her beautiful pale gray and charcoal fur is soft. Stella is slim and trim and athletic. She is learning all about the other cats at the Center and is interacting well. Stella will be a fine addition to a household. She will need another cat for companionship. Playtime and nap time for her and a companion cat is what Stella dreams about. Interview Stella at the Adoption Center on Wednesdays 5:30 to 7 and Saturdays 9:30 to noon or by appointment at 608-604-3483.
Cecil is a really nice big cat... he is a “fat head cat!” We are so pleased that Cecil has a new home with two other well socialized cats. He will be living a grand cat life! Congratulations to Cecil and his new family!
Blossom has a new home! Blossom was adopted the first part of February and what a wonderful Valentine for her and her new companions. Congratulations, Blossom!
Ella is a very beautiful and charming big girl. She is almost 2 years old, spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. Ella is playful and gets along well with all the other cats companions she shares space with at the Adoption Center. Ella would be a very fine companion in a household with other cats or she is socially well adjusted and could be a single cat in a home. Dark colored cats are very difficult to photograph for the non-professional therefore Ella’s photos here do not do her justice. She is MUCH more beautiful than these photos can reveal!
Interview Ella at the Adoption Center on Wednesdays 5:30 to 7 and Saturdays 9:30 to noon or by appointment at 608-604-3483.
Mike is a very sociable young cat! If you love orange cats this is a perfect young, athletic cat for you! Mike is about 14 months old and very lively and lovable. Mike is right at the door at the Adoption Center main room for cats and ready to greet everyone. Mike loves attention and wants to be held and cuddled a lot. Mike really loves playing and wrestling with other young cats but also interacts very well socially with all the cats in residence at the Center. Mike must be adopted into a home with another cat, preferably a young cat so he can enjoy the social contact with another feline. It is important to continue the social and behavioral growth of young cats as they embark on a new adventure in an adoptive home. Interview Mike and other cats on Wednesdays 5:30 to 7 and Saturdays 9:30 to noon or by appointment at 608-604-3483.
Paige has been adopted into a wonderful home just suited perfectly to her personality. Paige needs a more quite and serene environment and her new home will provide just that for her.
Congratulations, Paige and your new family!
Dave is a very nice 8 month old male kitten going into adulthood. He can be a bit shy at times… the opposite of Jordy!… but seems to be more confident as days go by and he meets more people. Dave interacts well with all the other cats at the Center. He is slim and athletic and a beautiful animal in motion. Dave would find life just fine in a home with other cats! Dave was found abandoned and alone in the summer 2010 and really would need another cat his age for companionship to continue his socialization as he matures. Dave is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Please come to meet this handsome young guy!
Adoption Center is open Wednesdays 5:30 to 7 and Saturdays 9:30 to noon or by appointment at 608-604-3483.
Congratulations, Jordy, and your new family! We are so pleased that this wonderful young cat is now in a loving home with another companion cat friend from the Adoption Center!
Jordy is a most personable young cat. He was found in July, 2010, tiny, thin, abandoned and alone, sleeping next to his dead sibling. Jordy immediately took to OMHS foster care where he was well fed and held and petted a lot. As a result Jordy absolutely loves attention! He is playful and enjoys other cats. He is neutered and up to date, of course, on all vaccinations.
Adoption Center is open Wednesdays 5:30 to & and Saturdays from 9:30 to noon. Stop in to see other marvelous cats!
Nadia, a beautiful gray cat has found a great home. Congratulations, Nadia! Enjoy your life with Carol!
Sadly, Drew’s new home did not work out for him this month (March-April)! Drew is a rather large dog and apparently when playing with the 5 year old child in the new home, Drew bumped him when going after a toy. So Drew has been returned to OMHS !
This is a really fine dog. Please consider interviewing this loyal and dog so willing to learn and share his energy and life in a good home.
Drew was the OMHS January, 2011 Pet of the Month.
Drew is a really fine Airedale/Doberman cross dog who needs a home. He is 5 years old, neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations. This big guy weighs in at about 78 to 80 pounds. Drew is a solidly built dog. One you can get your arms around and know you have a firm, athletic dog. He is not fat but at a very good weight and in great condition. He grew to adulthood in town so he knows that walking on a leash is a privilege and he does well on leash. He may pull just a little on leash but he is willing to learn, of course, with firm and patient teaching. Drew does very well indoors. He was an indoor dog at his former home and was taught not to jump on furniture and the instruction stuck… he does not get on furniture! Drew was surrendered to OMHS because one of the people in his former family developed some allergy so Drew moved out and under the wing of our society. He loves his dog bed and curls up for a nap. Drew is a very nice dog and will be a loyal and excellent companion in any household. Drew is eager to please and will be a loving, loyal companion.
